How Batts Athletics collects, uses and stores the information you give us.
This policy explains what personal information Batts Athletics collects through this website and at our Brampton and Burlington clubs, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the club and topic you choose, and the message you write.
Bookings and payments: court bookings are made on third-party booking systems. Those systems collect the details they need, such as your name, contact details and payment information. We do not store your card details.
At the club: details you give reception when you enrol in a program, join a plan or register for an event.
Technical data: standard server and security data such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the website running and to block spam.
We use your information to answer your enquiry, manage bookings, memberships and programs, send notices about your booking, and run our clubs safely.
We do not sell your personal information. We send you marketing messages only if you have asked to receive them.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and bookings, and where the law requires it. These include our website host and security provider (Cloudflare), our booking provider (Gigasports), and the partner operators for Burlington tennis, table tennis, squash, pickleball and fitness when you book with them.
Each partner operator handles your information under its own privacy policy. Some providers store data outside Canada, so it may be subject to the laws of those countries.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it.
This website does not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile protects our contact form from spam and may set technical cookies or read device data to tell people from bots.
Some pages embed Google Maps and YouTube. When you load them, those services may set cookies and receive your IP address under their own policies. Links to social media and booking sites take you to sites we do not control.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw consent to our use of it, subject to legal and contractual limits.
To make a request, email battsathletics@gmail.com (Brampton) or battsathleticsburlington@gmail.com (Burlington), or call 905-670-2016 (Brampton) or 289-337-8899 (Burlington). We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the bottom of the page shows when it last changed.
